HIIT Training;

High-intensity interval training can be described as an exercise session composed entirely of HIIT techniques, or as a component of an exercise plan. HIIT exercise sessions generally consist of a warm up period, then several repetitions of high intensity exercise separated by medium intensity exercise for recovery, then a cool down period. The high intensity exercise should be done at near maximum intensity. The medium exercise should be about 50% intensity. The number of repetitions and length of each depends on the exercise, but may be as little as three repetitions with just 20 seconds of intense exercise. HIIT significantly lowers insulin resistance compared to continuous training or control conditions and leads to modestly decreased fasting blood glucose levels and weight loss compared to those who do not undergo a physical activity intervention.

Ever been to a gym, hard enough as it is just to get onto a machine by yourself to do some kind of workout, loosing motivation or not knowing exactly what you are doing… Ever thought how great it would be to have a personal trainer to keep you motivated and on track to get your desired results? But just sighed at the cost of them per session, on top of the cost for the gym. Well that’s where I come in. I have designed  training courses that alternates ten minutes of ab, upper body, lower body and cardio sessions on a rotational basis of high powered non stop action .Individual attention is given to each participant.

Bootcamp

The root is body weight workouts in rapid sequence. Or they might be called drills more specifically. It’s this kind of intense total body workout that gets your muscles burning calories for hours after you’ve showered. Be sure to wear old clothes and don’t be afraid to get down and dirty. (Weather permitting, should it be moved indoors)

By tackling basic moves (like push-ups, squats, and planks) on an unstable surface, muscles get more bang for their buck . Stability balls are also great for getting back into shape after an injury because they can reduce muscle and spinal strain during certain movements .

Get toned! This classes is yoga based and draws most its moves from yoga just without the hectic insane “OMG how can anyone do that” moves. Yoga Stretching tones both inner and outer body, this is why yoga is renowned for being so good and it can help ease many ailments. Stretching is amazing and helps the body to release tension, alleviate pain and strengthen muscles as it tones your muscles. it   This is also calming and will help lift stress levels. All fitness levels and ages welcome, there is not competition. Just a fun relaxed environment.

Need a high intensity session to allow you to blow off some steam from this stressful world? Kickbox Fit is your solution. High powered, cardio based workouts with combination of martial arts moves. Improves co-ordination, strength, flexibility and all round body tone. No sparing involved. Includes basic fitness drills too, to give fitness junkies their fix!

This is a great way to stay in shape while pregnant, helps you prepare for birth, as well as getting your body back fast after birth.It will help you maintain fitness, strength, muscle tone and improve posture. It will assist you to hone in on specific areas such as pelvic floor and core muscles and also postural correction. A healthy, strong body and positive attitude will give you the best chance of a smooth delivery and recovery. You will cope better with physical and psychological challenges of labour.

If you’re not one from groups, and prefer some one on one attention. Private Sessions are for you. Close relationship with your trainer, with goal setting and direct motivation, you are guaranteed a good workout to suit your needs. A one on one session allows for a more hands on approach to gain correct knowledge of form and control whilst doing the movements.  Gain a close relationship with your trainer so they know your every need, goal and vice.
